BalochiWords.com is a free, open Balochi–English bilingual dictionary. Content is community-curated with editorial review (moderation, merge, and archive workflows) and is exposed publicly via word pages and a JSON API.

• English (en) ↔ Balochi (bal, ISO 639-3)

Data structure

Each dictionary entry has:

• word — the headword
• translations — list of translations in the target language
• direction — en-bal or bal-en
• slug — normalized URL-safe form (lowercase, diacritic-folded, hyphenated)

Update frequency

The dictionary is updated continuously as community contributions are reviewed and merged. The static base dictionary is periodically refreshed.

Data source & methodology

The dictionary combines a curated static base (compiled from public-domain and openly licensed Balochi–English sources) with community contributions reviewed by editors. Editors may approve, merge duplicates, or archive low-quality entries. The public API reflects only the current, non-archived state.
